Safety Before Skill & Injury Prevention Center of Arkansas Children's Hospital Team Up for Drown Prevention
On October 11th, Coach Karen had a wonderful meeting with the Injury Prevention Center of Arkansas Children’s Hospital. They are partnering with us at Safety Before Skill Swim School to make water safety part of the conversation between physicians and parents at well-child visits and offering “prescriptions” for complimentary lessons to those in need at our swim school. We are honored by their support and proud to have our logos next to each other on “prescriptions” all over the Central Arkansas Area in 2019.

Crystal Hill Elementary School - Fall Fest 2018
Safety Before Skill is a supporter of local schools and foundations. This silent auction item was donated to help raise money for a new playground at the school. Our own Coach Michelle, a full time teacher at Crystal Hill, took part in the fun!

Chenal Elementary - Fall Fest 2018
Safety Before Skill was proud to be a Silver Sponsor at this year's Chenal Elementary Fall Festival. In addition to the sponsorship, the swim school donated a gift certificate for the silent auction and gave away a gift basket to one lucky winner. The proceeds went towards purchasing educational programs for over 500 students.
Safety Before Skill Is Now A Proud Member of the USA Swimming Make a Splash Foundation
Safety Before Skill Swim School has met all of the requirements and is now a member of the USA Swimming Make a Splash Foundation, which makes grant money available to provide swim lessons for children who otherwise may not have access to them. We are thrilled to begin work with this organization as soon as possible!

Team Up with Autism Speaks Conference 2018
Every 4 years Safety Before Skill attends the Autism Speaks Conference. We love to set up our information booth and educate on water safety and drown prevention. Our coaches attend select educational seminars at the conference as part of their special needs training.

Safety Before Skill Joins Forces for Water Safety and
Drown Prevention in Arkansas
On Wednesday, June 6th, Coach Karen drove 2 hours to Arkadelphia to attend a meeting, arranged by the incredible Melanie Sikes Brindley.
This meeting brought together some powerful water safety and drown prevention forces.
Safety Before Skill Swim School joined the Army Corps of Engineers, Arkansas Game and Fish, National Water Safety Congress, Arkansas Children's Hospital
and Ryan's Call to work together to reduce drowning in Arkansas. 👊🏻
